As per reports, the Hungarian Meteorological Service warned of storm-like winds accompanying a cold front, with gusts reaching 90 to 100 kilometre per hour in exposed areas on Sunday (15 February).

• The strongest impacts are expected in central, western, and northern regions, with open plains and elevated areas most vulnerable to high gusts.
• No heavy precipitation or widespread flooding is anticipated, but the sudden winds pose risks for loose items and visibility.
• The affected areas include Budapest, Pest County, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Vas, Veszprém, Bakony, Lake Balaton, Sopron, and Kőszeg.
