As per reports, the Qatar Meteorology Department has warned of strong northwesterly winds over northern open-sea areas and forecast hot daytime conditions along the coast until 1800 hours local time (1500 hours UTC) on Wednesday (30 September).
• In Doha, temperatures are expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius, while winds along the coast are forecast to be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at 09-28 km/h, with gusts reaching 41 km/h in some areas. Visibility may fall to 03 km or less.
• In Dukhan, Mesaieed, Al Wakrah, Al Khor, Al Ruwais and Abu Samra, coastal weather is expected to be hot during the day, with hazy to misty conditions initially and a chance of localised clouds. Winds are forecast to be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at 09-28 km/h, with gusts reaching 41 km/h in some areas.
