As per reports, the Public Works Authority Ashghal in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic has announced temporary closures of roads, bridges, and tunnels from Friday (29 May) for maintenance and traffic management works.
• Temporary closure is scheduled on Friday (29 May) from 0200 hours local time (2300 hours UTC) until 1000 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) in the tunnel leading to Dukhan Road for traffic coming from New Al Rayyan Street via Bani Hajer Interchange.
• On Tuesday (02 June), from 0030 hours local time (2130 hours UTC) until 0500 hours local time (0200 hours UTC), a night closure is scheduled on the U turn on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor at Umm Lekhba Interchange.
• On Sunday (31 May) until Tuesday (09 June), a full traffic closure is expected at Bani Hajer Interchange for traffic coming from Khalifa Boulevard towards Al Shahama Street.
