As per reports, employees of the Rea Vaya bus service in Johannesburg have gone on strike on Thursday (04 January). There is currently a blockade by the employees at the Selby bus depot, restricting operations.

The strike has resulted in the suspension of the Rea Vaya service, impacting public transportation in the city.
