As per reports, the Shamrock Shuffle will take place in Chicago on Sunday (23 March), impacting multiple streets in and around Grant Park.
• Thousands of participants will be making their way through the designated racecourse, leading to temporary road closures and traffic disruptions.
• Rolling street closures within Grant Park have begun as of Tuesday (18 March) and continue through Monday (24 March). Additionally, vehicle access to Grant Park will be restricted from 0600 hours (local time) on Saturday (22 March) until approximately 1500 hours (local time) on Sunday (23 March).
• Event organizers have coordinated with the Chicago Police Department to implement a rolling closure system, allowing streets to reopen once the last participant has passed.
• On Sunday (23 March), from 0730 hours to 1130 hours (local time), several key roads will be completely closed, including Columbus Dr., Grand Ave., State St., Wacker Dr., Washington Blvd., Jackson Blvd., Franklin St., Harrison St., Michigan Ave., and Roosevelt Rd. DuSable Lake Shore Dr., Ida B. Wells Dr., and N. Michigan Ave. will remain open.
