Storm Amy expected across Ireland until Saturday (04 October)

As per reports, Storm Amy is expected to affect Ireland and Northern Ireland with severe wind and rainfall until Saturday (04 October).

• From Thursday (02 October), a status orange and yellow rainfall warning were in effect for several Irish counties.
• On Friday (03 October), the most critical warnings apply. Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo are expected to face status orange wind warnings from 1400 to 2200 hours local time (1300–2100 hours UTC).
• All 26 counties in the Republic of Ireland are expected to be under a status yellow wind warning until 0000 hours local time (2300 hours UTC on 03 October) on Saturday (04 October).
• By Saturday (04 October), only Donegal is expected to remain under status yellow wind and rainfall warnings.
