As per reports, Governor Henry McMaster of South Carolina issued Executive Order 2025-33, declaring a State of Emergency in response to the potential threat posed by Tropical Disturbance 94L on Friday (26 September).

• The order activates the South Carolina Emergency Operations Plan and enables state and local agencies to coordinate preparation efforts due to the tropical storm, which is approaching southeast of the United States.
• The South Carolina Emergency Management Division (SCEMD) is now in full coordination mode with local, state, and federal partners.
• The declaration also makes the state eligible for FEMA reimbursement for storm-related expenses.
• Although the exact path and strength of the storm remain uncertain, officials expect high winds, heavy rainfall, and flooding statewide.
