As per reports, on Wednesday (15 May) evening, a perpetrator attacked around six people with a knife, while he moved westward on foot from the Zofingen train station in the small town of Aargau towards the neighboring village of Strengelbach.

Reports indicate that the crime scene in the area of ​​Zofingen train station, Güterstrasse, and Strengelbachstrasse up to the village center of Strengelbach remained closed for several hours due to the investigation. The areas have now been opened.
