As per reports, a stabbing incident was reported at 134th Avenue and 161st Street in Queens, New York, at about 0730 hours local time on Wednesday (17 January), in which two people attacked and injured.

• The assailant is suspected of randomly stabbing four people in the past two days. At least two other attacks were reported in the same neighborhood of Springfield Gardens.
• Police have surged officers to launch search operations in the subway and has also asked for public help. Investigative procedures are underway.
