As per reports, a stabbing incident occured outside the gate of Zhongguancun No. 3 Primary School of Beijing on Monday (28 October). This took place at around 1520 hours at the intersection of Wanquanzhuang Road and Wanliu Middle Road in the Haidan area, resulting in five injured including three minors.

The suspect was a 50-year old man and was detained on the spot. The injured were admitted and were not in a critical condition. Further investigations are underway.
