As per reports, a stabbing incident occurred during a pro-Palestine demonstration at Saturday Square in Brussels at approximately 1800 hours (local time) on Sunday (24 August).

• Brussels Capital Ixelles police has indicated that one individual was critically injured and transported to a hospital following the stabling incident.
• A suspect has reportedly been arrested in connection with the event.
• Investigation regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently underway.
