Stabbing incident leaves two injured at train station in Sydney on Wednesday (17 September)

As per reports, two individuals were injured in a stabbing incident that took place at the Merrylands Train Station in Sydney in the afternoon hours of Wednesday (17 September). Both victims are in stable condition.

Trains on the T5 Cumberland line were forced to a halt from 1400 to 1500 hours due to a police operation following the incident. One individual was arrested by police later on the same day and is expected to be produced before the Parramatta Local Court on Thursday (18 September).
