According to reports, former All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK) Minister and current Member of Legislative Assembly, SP Velumani, received a death threat letter on Friday (23 May).

The letter stated that the sender would carry out a bomb blast on 30 July to kill the MLA and his family. A complaint has been filed at the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner’s Office.
