Snow squalls are expected to cause rapidly changing weather conditions, with visibility potentially dropping to near zero due to heavy snowfall and blowing snow within a short distance.
• Additionally, a winter weather advisory is in effect for Prince Edward County, extending to Kingston, with expected snow accumulation of five to 10 centimetres.
• The temperatures in Toronto are expected to remain below freezing on Thursday (23 January), with a high of negative five degrees Celsius and chances of flurries. Gradual warming is anticipated over the weekend, with temperatures nearing zero degrees Celsius. Warming centres in Toronto remain open to assist vulnerable populations.
