As per reports, forecasters have warned of a potentially slick Wednesday (25 February) morning commute due to light snowfall, refreezing meltwater, and reduced visibility in parts of southeastern Pennsylvania and northern New England.
• In southeastern Pennsylvania; Bucks County and surrounding areas, a weak clipper system is expected to bring light snowfall mainly after 0200 hours local time (0700 hours UTC) into early Wednesday (25 February), with minimal accumulations (generally less than one inch in Bucks County).
• Overnight temperatures are expected to drop into the teens to low 20s degrees Fahrenheit, supporting refreezing of runoff from melting snow, which can create localized slick patches on untreated surfaces during the morning commute.
• In Maine and New Hampshire (NWS Gray coverage), the US National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a special weather statement for Androscoggin, Cumberland, and York counties, southern Oxford County, and most of New Hampshire, advising that light to moderate snowfall is expected from 0700 hours to 0900 hours local time (1200 hours to 1400 hours UTC).
• Accumulations of one to three inches are expected, with localized four inches possible, alongside periods of snow-covered roads and reduced visibility.
