As per reports, Colombian health authorities have issued a new alert due to outbreaks of yellow fever, with three confirmed deaths in Bogotá and additional cases under investigation nationwide as of Sunday (25 January).

• Vaccination campaigns and mosquito control measures are being intensified, particularly in endemic rural areas and urban zones with recent transmissions.
• No widespread epidemic declared, but vigilance is high with calls for vaccination and prevention.
• The affected areas include Bogotá, Meta, Casanare, Vichada, Guaviare, and Tolima.
