As per reports, a shooting incident occurred just before 1130 hours (local time) on Wednesday (18 June), on the 4900 block of Chancellor Street in West Philadelphia. Philadelphia police responded to a call reporting a person with a firearm in the area.

• Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
• A weapon was recovered at the scene by law enforcement officials. No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
