As per reports, rehabilitation and construction works on 600 metres of Abogunde Road, off Pakiotan, in Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, Oyo State, commenced on Thursday (18 June).

• The project aims to improve accessibility, road safety, and connectivity for commuters and businesses using the route.
• Reportedly, construction activities may result in temporary traffic disruptions, reduced road capacity, and slower vehicle movement in the immediate vicinity until the works are completed.
• No official completion date has been announced as of Friday (19 June).
