As per reports, a hostage situation occurred on Saturday (16 November) afternoon at a restaurant in Issy-les-Moulineaux, Paris.

• A knife-wielding individual reportedly took multiple people hostage inside a pizza restaurant in Paris. Numerous police vehicles and ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and authorities secured the area by locking down the street. The individual is said to be holding employees of the Pizza L’Olivier restaurant in Issy-les-Moulineaux as hostages.
• Residents of the area were advised to remain in their homes, while traffic was halted as police forces established a cordon around the area.
• The four hostages were freed from the pizzeria by armed police forces at approximately 1630 hours (local time), and the suspect has been taken into custody by authorities.
