Situational update on floods reported in Bogota on Sunday (30 November)

As per reports, on Sunday (30 November), heavy rainfall was reported in the city of Bogotá, causing flooding across several sectors of the capital.

• The rainfall led to floods in multiple districts, including Santa Fe, Chapinero, San Cristóbal, Candelaria, Antonio Nariño, and Usaquén, with roads and transportation corridors such as Carrera 7, Avenida Caracas, and Calle 26 becoming inundated, thereby significantly affecting mobility across the city.
• Official alerts from the city’s flood management agency IDIGER (District Institute for Risk Management and Climate Change) confirmed that several roads were flooded, including Carrera 7, Avenida Caracas, Calle 80, Avenida Circunvalar, and Calle 13, impeding traffic flow in the afternoon of Sunday (30 November).
