As per reports, at approximately 0212 hours local time on Sunday (08 February) (2312 hours UTC on 07 February), a fire was confirmed in a historic building located at Mokhovaya Street 28 in central Saint Petersburg.
• The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported that the fire was actively burning in the attic area of the structure and was initially estimated at roughly 60 square meters in size. In response, firefighters evacuated more than 25 people from the danger zone and have since localized the fire to its initial area of origin.
• Reports as of 0500 hours local time (0200 hours UTC) on Sunday (08 February) indicate no serious injuries have been recorded, and emergency personnel continue to monitor the scene to ensure full extinguishment.
