As per reports, a fire incident was reported at a warehouse in South El Monte, California, which burned for several hours on Sunday (08 December), leaving the building completely destroyed. One firefighter died in the fire incident.

• The fire erupted at around 0420 hours local time at the corner of Central and Santa Anita avenues, across from South El Monte City Hall.
• Crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were involved in the firefighting operations for several hours.
