As per reports, a fire incident was reported at a high rise apartment building in downtown Rochester on Sunday (10 May) at approximately 1245 hours local time (1645 hours UTC), following a balcony fire at the Andrews Terrace apartment complex on St. Paul Street.
• The fire originated from a balcony area of an apartment unit within the building. A second alarm response was initiated due to the size of the residential complex.
• Fire crews conducted checks to determine whether the fire had spread beyond the affected unit.
• The affected apartment unit was unoccupied at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported. Authorities confirmed that the fire did not extend to adjacent units.
• The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
