As per reports, around 300 individuals were scheduled to be evacuated by helicopters from Saas-Fee to Stalden on Monday (09 September), with operations running between 0800 hours (local time) and noon.

The cantonal road remains blocked, with no definitive timeline for reopening. Continued blasting work is required to clear debris, which is being hampered by localised disruptions.
