As per reports, at approximately 1748 hours (local time) on Tuesday (09 September), a shooting occurred in the India Basin neighborhood of San Francisco, specifically on the 1500 block of Burke Avenue.
• According to the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD), four individuals sustained gunshot wounds as a result of the incident.
• One victim was reportedly located by officers at the scene and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
• The three other victims had already been taken to medical facilities prior to police arrival, and their conditions remain unconfirmed.
• At around 1830 hours (local time), police reportedly detained a man observed discharging a firearm on the 1000 block of Potrero Avenue.
• At present, SFPD has not determined a direct connection between this individual and the earlier shooting in India Basin. All four victims are currently receiving medical treatment in local hospitals. The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
