As per reports, State Highway (SH) 27 will fully close to motorists at Waharoa, Matamata-Piako District, for four weeks due to resealing works. The works will take place along Waharoa Road with SH27 being closed from Monday (03 February) to 01 March.

• Northbound traffic on SH27 will be asked to turn right onto Wardville Road, then turn left onto Alexandra Road, and then left again onto Diagonal Rd towards SH27 where the detour ends.
• Southbound traffic on Walton and Wairere Rds, will be asked to turn left onto SH27, then right onto Diagonal Road, right again onto Alexandra Road, another right turn onto Wardville Road, and proceed towards SH27 where the detour ends.
• Southbound traffic on Kereone Road will proceed onto Diagonal Road, turn right onto Alexandra Road, turn right again onto Wardville Road, and proceed towards SH27 where the detour ends.
• Southbound traffic on SH27, will turn left onto Diagonal Road, turn right onto Alexandra Road, turn right onto Wardville Road, and proceed towards SH27 where the detour ends.
