As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) has issued an orange warning for storms on Thursday (25 September) affecting the Federal District, Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Goiás, Tocantins, southern Amazonas, and northern Minas Gerais.

• Forecasts indicate possible rainfall accumulation up to 100 millimeters and wind gusts of 60 tp100 kilometer per hour. This warning is valid until 1000 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) but may be extended based on conditions.
• A yellow alert is also active for much of the central region, including south-central Amazonas, Rondônia, southern Pará, Tocantins, Mato Grosso, northern Mato Grosso, Goiás, the Federal District, and northern Minas Gerais, where rainfall of up to 50 millimeters per day is expected.
