As per reports, a severe snowstorm is disrupting air travel across the northeastern United States on Sunday (14 December).

• Significant snowfall and adverse conditions are causing extensive flight delays and ground stops at multiple major airports including LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York, Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in New Jersey, and Teterboro Airport (TEB) in New Jersey.
• Airports from Boston, Massachusetts to Washington, DC are also affected, requiring additional de-icing time.
• LaGuardia Airport is experiencing a complete flight shutdown with delays of up to six hours.
• John F. Kennedy International Airport is facing a ground stoppage causing delays of more than three hours.
• Newark Liberty International Airport is experiencing delays of more than four hours.
• Teterboro Airport went into a grounding in the afternoon.
• Philadelphia International Airport is reporting shorter delays exceeding one hour.
• Airport authorities are implementing measures to clear taxiways and ensure safety.
