The Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) has issued several yellow weather warnings for Sunday (04 January).

• A yellow weather warning has been issued for travel disruptions due to bad road conditions in Varsinais Suomi, Uusimaa, Kymenlaakso, South Karelia, as of Sunday (04 January), and the warning is expected to remain valid till 1200 hours local time (1000 hours UTC).
• A yellow weather warning has been issued for flood conditions in fields and forests in Satakunta, Kanta Häme, Pirkanmaa, Etelä Pohjanmaa, Pohjanmaa, Keski Pohjanmaa, Kainuu, Pohjois Pohjanmaa, Pudasjärvi, Taivalkoski, Kuusamo, and Ranua as of Sunday (04 January), and the warning is expected to remain valid till 2359 hours local time (2159 hours UTC).
• A yellow weather warning has been issued for increased cold stress in Simo, Posio, Kemi, Keminmaa, Tornio, Ylitornio, Tervola, Pello, Rovaniemi, Kemijärvi, Salla, Kolari, Muonio, Kittilä, Sodankylä, Pelkosenniemi, Savukoski, Enontekiö, Inari, and Utsjoki and is expected to remain valid till Tuesday (07 January).
