As per reports, several major avenues in Mexico City (CDMX) will experience road closures on Wednesday (19 June).
• The Road Orientation Center of the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City (OVIAL CDMX) has officially announced that through Friday (21 June), Eje 5 Sur operates in reversible mode from Gabriel Mancera to Canal de Río Churubusco, from 1800 hours to 2100 hours (local time). The confined lane will continue to operate as usual (westbound) exclusively for public transport, to facilitate traffic flow. The recommended alternative routes are as follows: Eje 7 Sur, Eje 6 Sur, Eje 4 Sur, Eje 3 Sur, Canal de Río Churubusco, and Avenida de los Insurgentes.
• Diagonal 20 de Noviembre lanes are closed from Isabel La Católica to 5 de Febrero Street. The recommended alternative routes are Chimalpopoca and Lucas Alamán Streets.
• There is a lane closure on Mina Street from Héroes Street to Guerrero. The recommended alternative route by OVIALCDMX is Hidalgo Avenue. Lanes are also closed on Carlota Street from Ezequiel to Abel in the Guadalupe Tepeyac neighborhood. The recommended alternative route is Alicia Street.
