As per reports, the National Police of Ukraine is strengthening security measures for Easter, which is on Monday (20 April).

• Police crews will be brought closer to places of worship, and a selective inspection of citizens’ belongings is possible.
• This was reported by the spokesperson of the National Police, Yulia Girdvilis, on Thursday (17 April).
• The National Police is to ensure law and order near churches, streets and highways.
• The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine warned of increased passenger traffic at the border, which may lead to queues in some directions.
