As per reports, the District Magistrate has issued prohibitory orders in Hathras until Monday (30 March), under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) to maintain law and order in the district.
The order has been issued in view of the upcoming examinations and the festivals of Mahashivratri, Holi, Eid-ul-Fitr and Ramnavami, in Hathras.
• Under the order, processions, protests, gatherings, and the use of loudspeakers without permission will be prohibited in the district.
• Carrying weapons in public places, raising objectionable slogans, putting up posters and banners, and gatherings of more than five people will also be prohibited.
• During the examination period, there will be a complete ban on any kind of gathering, demonstration, use of loudspeakers, photocopying, or electronic devices within 200 meters of the examination center.
