As per reports, in light of the New Year’s Day celebrations, Gautam Buddh Nagar Police has issued Section 144 from Sunday (31 December) to Monday (01 January).

Prohibitory measures are in place for unlawful assembly of five or more people, unauthorized processions, holding religious prayers in public places, consumption of alcohol in public places, and private drone usage within a one-kilometre radius of government establishments.
