As per reports, the Workers’ Union at Hellinikon have declared a 48-hour strike on Tuesday (23 June) and Wednesday (24 June). The labor union represents personnel working on Europe’s largest urban redevelopment project at the former international airport site.

Striking unionists are scheduled to hold a mass rally in central Athens at Kanigos Square starting at 1100 hours local time (0800 hours UTC).
