As per reports, road authorities have announced a scheduled overnight road closure on Arnarnesvegur between Fífuhvammsvegur and Reykjanesbraut from 1900 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) on Tuesday (30 June) until 0300 hours local time (0300 hours UTC) on Wednesday (01 July).

According to the road authorities, the closure is required to allow construction works on the roundabout at the intersection of Nónhæð and Smárahvammsvegur.
