As per reports, the Public Services Company of Heredia (ESPH) has announced a scheduled power outage on Tuesday (28 October) affecting multiple sectors in the province of Heredia, Costa Rica.

• The outage will affect Fátima and Guararí, two major localities within Heredia known for their mixed residential and commercial zones.
• Power supply interruptions are scheduled to occur between 0700 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) and 1400 hours local time (2000 hours UTC).
• The maintenance involves replacement of damaged utility poles and inspection of distribution lines, which requires a temporary disconnection of the local electricity supply.
• The maintenance activity is part of ESPH’s routine infrastructure upgrade and preventive works to enhance the stability and reliability of the local power grid.
