As per reports, the Department of Meteorological Services has forecast scattered rainfall across Kampala on Monday (06 July).

• Meteorological models indicate that atmospheric moisture advection is expected to cause increasing cloud cover across the central region during the afternoon hours.
• The convective development is scheduled to bring scattered rainfall cells and isolated thunderstorms.
• Nighttime thermal conditions are anticipated to decrease to a minimum of approximately 19 degrees Celsius, maintaining a relatively mild climate.
• The affected areas include Kampala, Nakawa, Makindye, Rubaga, and Kawempe divisions within the Kampala Capital City authority, with key road corridors at risk including the Kampala–Entebbe Expressway, the Northern Bypass, and Jinja Road.
