As per reports, the Santa Clara Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic as part of the construction of a new roundabout in the Largo da Portagem area for the Alto de São João – Portagem Metrobus project from Wednesday (24 July) to 30 August.

• Traffic will be redirected via Fernão Magalhães Avenue, Casa do Sal, Açude Bridge, Guarda Inglesa Avenue, and João das Regras Avenue. An alternative route is via Emídio Navarro Avenue, Lousã Avenue, Urbano Duarte Avenue, Rainha Santa Isabel Bridge, and Inês de Castro Avenue.
• Several SMTUC bus stops will be moved from Avenida Emídio Navarro to Avenida de Conímbriga, affecting lines 12, 13, 14, 14T, 17, 20, 21, 22F, 32, 18, 23, 31, 43, 47, 48, and 49. The parking area on Avenida de Conímbriga near the Praça das Cortes Car Park will be used for these relocated stops.
