According to reports, Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado has prepared a thermal scanner to check the body temperature of passengers on direct flights from abroad in view of the Nipah virus concerns. Although there are currently no cases of Nipah Virus in Indonesia, Sam Ratulangi Airport continues to carry out strict monitoring.
The authorities have been coordinating with the Manado Class I Health Quarantine Centre. As of now, in Manado, there have been no direct or indirect passengers from India.
