As per reports, Russia has initiated the construction of new military infrastructure near the Finland border as reported on Tuesday (15 April).
• Finnish officials describe this as a calculated provocation to test NATO’s unity and response capability.
• The reorganization includes four to five divisions, an army corps, and support units forming a new consolidated force.
• President Vladimir Putin announced the reestablishment of the Leningrad Military District and deployment of new military units near the Finnish border.
• Finland is also experiencing increased hybrid tactics, including a surge in migrant flows allegedly directed by Russian authorities.
