Runway damage reported in Debrecen, Hungary; flights diverted to Budapest until Sunday (14 July)

As per reports, all incoming and outgoing flights scheduled for Debrecen International Airport (DEB) are expected to be diverted to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport until at least Sunday (14 July) due to runway damages attributed to persistently high temperatures.

The damage was detected as part of regular maintenance checks. Ensuring the highest flight security standards, the airport authorities decided on an immediate closure to address the issue.
