As per reports, a new political controversy has erupted in Bengaluru over a proposed book event titled “Umar Khalid and His World,” scheduled to be held at Bangalore International Centre (BIC) in Domlur on Tuesday (28 April). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strongly objected to the programme and urged the police to withdraw permission, citing concerns over law and order and the nature of the event.
