As per reports, Hamas launched at least eight rockets from the Rafah area of Gaza towards Tel Aviv on Sunday (26 May), marking the first time since January that it has directly launched an attack into Israeli territory.
The rockets were intercepted by Israeli air defence systems, and no casualties were reported; however, a house in the Tel Aviv suburb of Herzliya sustained damage from falling debris. The incident occurred at approximately 1400 hours (local time), causing warning sirens to go off over areas including Herzliya and Petah Tikva.
