As per reports, road closures and traffic disruptions are expected in North Charleston, South Carolina, on Saturday (14 March) due to the annual St. Paddy’s Day Block Party and Parade taking place in the Olde Village / Park Circle area.

• The event will run from 1200 hours local time (1600 hours UTC) to 1700 hours local time (2100 hours UTC) along East Montague Avenue between Virginia Avenue and Jenkins Avenue.
• The celebration will begin with a parade starting at 1200 hours local time (1600 hours UTC) at Park Place East adjacent to East Montague Avenue, proceeding west along East Montague Avenue through the block party area to Virginia Avenue. The event will include live music stages, food vendors, street activities, and family entertainment.
• East Montague Avenue between Virginia Avenue and Jenkins Avenue, as well as portions of O’Hear Avenue, Chateau Avenue, and Colie Morse Lane, will be closed from 0900 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) until approximately 1900 hours local time (2300 hours UTC) for event setup and activities.
• East Montague Avenue between Park Place East and Jenkins Avenue will be closed from 1130 hours local time (1530 hours UTC) for the duration of the parade.
