As per reports, road closures and restricted vehicle access are scheduled across Southampton, Hampshire, England, on Sunday (04 October) for the Southampton Half Marathon and 10 kilometre race, with the event based at St Mary’s Stadium, Britannia Road.
• The Half Marathon is scheduled to start at 0900 hours local time (0800 hours UTC) and the 10 kilometre race at 0930 hours local time (0830 hours UTC).
• Reports also lists a five kilometre race at 0945 hours local time (0845 hours UTC) and a junior race at 1200 hours local time (1100 hours UTC).
• According to the supplied reports, road closures and restricted vehicle access are scheduled from approximately 0830 hours to 1230 hours local time (0730 hours to 1130 hours UTC).
• The race route passes across Northam Bridge, beneath Itchen Bridge and through Ocean Village, with roads around Ocean Village Marina, Saxon Wharf and Shamrock Quay among the areas expected to experience access restrictions.
