As per reports, as of the evening hours of Tuesday (25 November), the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have closed multiple major highways as the season’s first significant snowstorm was reported across the region.
• The I-94 is closed between Valley City and Fargo, and I-29 is closed from Grand Forks to the South Dakota border due to icy road conditions, low visibility, and multiple traffic incidents.
• Additional closures are in effect on Highway 13 between ND 1 and Wahpeton and Highway 11 between ND 1 and Fairmount, with authorities warning that conditions in some areas are life-threatening.
• Officials have also issued no-travel advisories across multiple regions of the state, strongly urging motorists to avoid travel.
