As per reports, thousands of people are expected to attend the Spectra festival in Aberdeen, Scotland, which scheduled from 08 to 11 February.
The first road closures will come into effect from 04 February to display installation of artworks at Union Terrace Gardens, Aberdeen Art Gallery, Marischal College and Broad Street. The following road closures have been issued between 1600 hours to 2330 hours local time from 08 February until 11 February:
• Gallowgate will be closed from Broad Street to Littlejohn Street.
• Upperkirkgate will be closed from Gallowgate to Schoolhill.
• Schoolhill’s entire length will be closed.
• Back Wynd will be closed from Schoolhill to Little Belmont Street.
• Harriet Street will be closed from Schoolhill to Loch Street.
• Union Terrace will be closed from Union Street to Rosemount Viaduct.
• Rosemount Viaduct will be closed from Schoolhill to Skene Street.
• Broad Street will be closed from Union Street to Upperkirkgate.
• Blackfriars Street and St Andrews Street will be closed from Rosemount Viaduct to Crooked Lane.
• Queen Street will be closed from Broad Street to Shoe Lane.
• Netherkirkgate will be closed from Broad Street to St Cathrine Wynd.
• Broad Street will also be closed from 2350 hours local time on 04 February until 2350 hours local time on 13 February.
• To ease traffic in the area, Flourmill Lane will be open two-ways from 1600 hours to 2330 hours local time from 08 to 11 February.
