As per reports, several roads in the city will be closed in preparation for the Perak state-level Hari Pahlawan celebration. Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad stated that the road closures would take place on Wednesday (31 July) from 0700 hours and will remain in effect until the event concludes at the state secretariat building.
• The roads affected include Jalan Kuala Kangsar and the sliproad into Jalan Raja Musa Aziz near the Perak Islamic Religious Department Syariah law enforcement division office, Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab and Jalan St John.
• Rehearsals for the event would also be held from Sunday (28 July) to Tuesday (30 July) at 0700 hours.
