The New Zealand Police have announced a road closure between Margan Avenue and Rankin Avenue in New Lynn following a collision between a car and a stationary bus around 0702 hours (local time) on Thursday (18 September).

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the incident. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries. Authorities are carrying out clearance operations at the site, and enquiries into the cause of the crash are underway.
