As per reports, the Keizer Police Department will enforce road closures and traffic diversions along River road on Saturday (14 December) for the annual Festival of Lights Parade.
• Lockhaven Drive north is expected to close at 1500 hours (local time) between River road north and McClure street to facilitate parade staging for the Festival of Lights Parade. River road northeast is expected to close at 1830 hours (local time) for approximately two miles, spanning from Plymouth Drive northeast to Lockhaven Drive north. The roadways are expected to reopen around 2030 hours (local time) after the parade concludes.
• To manage traffic, northbound vehicles will be diverted to Cherry Avenue northeast via Plymouth Drive northeast and routed back to Salem Parkway. Southbound traffic will be redirected eastbound onto Lockhaven Drive northeast. Periodic crossings will be allowed at Chemawa road, Dearborn Avenue, and Manbrin Drive before the parade begins.
